Shelby Whitwam is s from Holden Beach, North Carolina and began dancing age of 2. Training in many styles of dance and acrobatics at The Academy of Dance & Fine Arts under the direction of Marcie Willis, Stephanie Bonn, and Karen Deese. Shelby has trained with renowned dancers and choreographers like Marco Cruz, Jessica Starr, Madeline Underwood, Derek Mitchell, Alyssa Guerrieri, and Gianna Martello of Abby Lee Dance Company. At 13 she began student teaching and choreographing, and still teaches at her home town studio. Shelby danced competitively, winning numerous regional and national awards and titles. She began her professional dance career in the 2024 production of The South’s Grandest Christmas Show. Shelby loves bringing her passion for dance to the stage.
