Corey Bell

Corey is from Denton, Texas where he attended the University of North Texas. While pursuing his graduate degree, Corey was a teaching fellow at UNT where he directed the reading jazz band. Corey frequently performed with many of the Dallas area jazz groups including, Dallas Jazz Orchestra, Pecos River Brass, Rebel Alliance Big Band, and the Memphis Brass. During his time in Texas, he was frequently called for commercial recording projects

while maintaining a full private lesson studio. Prior to moving to Texas, Corey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Performance from Western Illinois University. He toured Europe several times performing more than 50 performances throughout Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Corey shared the stage with many notable jazz artists including, Bobby Shew, Conrad Herwig, Tom Garling, Pete Christlieb, Eddie Daniels, Kevin Mahoganey, Jim Snidero, and Kurt Elling. Corey also enjoyed several years at sea as a musician for Princess Cruises. Corey is happily married to his wife, Julie and is the proud father of 3 daughters as well as a stepson and step daughter.
