Blake Graham

Blake Graham was born and raised just outside Myrtle Beach. He studied music at Coastal Carolina University under renowned artist Steve Bailey and performed with the Spirit of the Chanticleer Marching Band. He then went to New York City and received his Masters in Music Theory at the City College of New York. Blake returned to South Carolina to teach percussion at a local marching band and to teach private lessons to students from elementary school to retirees. A multi-instrumentalist with eclectic tastes, he has spent the last decade playing guitar, bass and keyboards in local bands with styles ranging from pop and dance music to classic rock and jazz. His original metal band Doctrine of Ethos was signed to Turkey Vulture Records. He has been married to Bethany, also a musician and teacher, since 2015.
