Laura Perry (Dance Captain) is thrilled to return to the Alabama Theatre stage after taking a season at home with her newborn son. She is originally from Ontario, Canada where she trained in multiple styles and graduated with honors from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Dance. In 2009, Laura completed the final examination of the Royal Academy of Dance and attained the coveted Solo Seal Award. She is a member of both the Royal Academy of Dance and the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. She has performed in Japan at the Tokyo Theatre Orb in Broadway Christmas Wonderland. Before arriving in Myrtle Beach, she spent seven years as a dancer, aerialist and aqua dancer for Royal Caribbean, traveling the globe and dancing on some of the world’s largest cruise ships. Laura loves to train aspiring young students and has been teaching for over fifteen years. Laura also has a unique passion for finance and it is her mission to educate and inspire performers in budgeting and money management.
