Lindsey Armour-Thomé is elated to make her return to the Alabama Theatre stage as dance captain. Lindsey received her Master of Fine Arts in Choreography from Wilson College, as well as her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University. Lindsey is an associate professor of jazz dance at Coastal Carolina University. In addition to her dance education, Lindsey is an aerialist, performing silks, hammock, lyra, and Spanish web. Lindsey performed the lead role of Scarlet for Dolly Parton’s Pirate’s Voyage. She was the dance captain, magician’s assistant, and featured dancer for Sandcastle’s productions of Magic of Saipan and Zubrick. She danced for Larwell Productions, as well as Legoland California. In addition to performing, Lindsey is an educator and choreographer, most recently choreographing, producing, and directing the evening length show, Verity: The Things We Carry. It is with a heavy heart that she dedicates each performance to her late father who always encouraged and supported her passion for dance.
